I've honestly done so much in 2024...
• Grew as an artist, finding a routine I can work with and expanded my style.
• Grew as a name to 200-500 followers
• Created a sona and identity for myself
• Got into streaming
• Started a website
• Started a gaming channel
• Started my transition, truly began to feel like my authentic self, and opened up to my family/friends about my gender identity/pronouns.
• Finally escaped Twitter...
All of this felt impossible back in 2019-2023, and had I never found the strength to do all this, to take risks like these, I would have been nothing...
It makes me feel like I can keep going and see what I'm capable of in the future. The cycle feels the same the older you get, and it feels embittering, like you're pushing yourself when everything happening around you is exactly the same, but somehow you go to better and better feats.
No matter how empty you feel at the end of the day, the sun still somehow rises and things feel like a fresh start.
I just try to tune out all the repetition and focus on what's continuous and ongoing... everchanging and fluid.
I might close out the year by taking a step away from social media. I'll only use stuff like Bluesky, NG, Tumblr, etc. for posting art (if I draw in that timeframe), and promoting streams (that is if I decide to do it).
I was also working on a collab with Wintermelon (X) that she'll voice, (hint hint it's Toriel related)...
I've been meaning to get back into streaming as a passtime between art, and I hope this can provide a bridge to that.
The only way to escape the negativity social media/drama has caused is to do anything productive that makes me happy, and with that I hope this plan can work.
To everyone I have befriended over the past few years, to everyone following my work on Bluesky, Newgrounds, my Discord server, etc... you are all my family... Thank you for existing with me.
